i have hair
i breathe air
my tail is a fluke
(which isn't a fluke but a fact)
and it moves
up and down
not side to side
(like a fish)
so even melville missed
when he called me "a spouting fish"
and oh how I wish
you humans would not be remiss
in your care of our earthly abyss
